Out Of Network Or Self Pay
If you’re unable to secure pre-approval through The Lactation Network due to your current insurance plan or if you’re paying out of pocket, don’t worry – we’re here to assist. You can make payment at the time of service, and we will furnish you with a superbill containing the required medical coding and a detailed breakdown of service costs. This superbill can be submitted to your medical insurance provider, along with their designated claims form, for potential reimbursement. We Specialize In The Following Services
Infant Feeding
Feeding your newborn is a special time to bond with your baby. A lactation visit is a great way to learn basic information about breastfeeding your newborn and to promote a smooth breastfeeding journey. Sometimes breastfeeding is interrupted by feeding difficulties such as painful latch or latch difficulties, low supply, over supply, jaundice or oral issues. I also offer an infant feeding visit to address any difficulties you are experiencing and create a feeding plan to address these issues.
Feeding a NICU Baby
Having a baby in the NICU is a stressful time for families. I offer a lactation visit to create pumping strategies to initiate and maintain breastmilk supply. A feeding plan often combines pumping, breastfeeding and supplemental feeding. I can assist you to create a feeding plan specific for your baby and adjust the plan as needed.
Returning to Work
Returning to work after the birth of your baby is stressful enough without worrying about pumping enough milk for your baby. Creating a plan for pumping can be overwhelming since there are so many breast pump options and strategies to provide breastmilk while you are away from your baby. At a Returning to Work visit we will discuss your breast pump, make sure you are comfortable using the pump, and create a plan to meet your feeding goals.
Pumping Your Breastmilk
Feeding your baby may include pumping your breastmilk or you may choose to exclusively pump for your baby. I can assist you in choosing a breast pump, learning how to use your pump, creating a pumping schedule and maintaining your breastmilk supply to meet your feeding goals.
Prenatal Breastfeeding Class
Breastfeeding your baby is a wonderful way to provide nutrition and bond with your baby. My breastfeeding class will give you the information and tools you need to be successful breastfeeding your baby.
